Hon. Abdirahin H. Abdi 2 March 2010 launched the AGORA portal for Parliamentary Development at the occasion of the International Conference on benchmarking and self-assessment for democratic legislatures held at the French National Assembly in Paris. The launch was jointly organised by the French National Assembly, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNDP and DFID and marked the inauguration of the first global virtual platform for knowledge sharing on parliamentary development.
