The Assembly today posed a series of questions for oral answers to the Council of Ministers. The acting Chair of Council of Ministers, Hon Dr. Abdulla Saadala responded to the questions on behalf of the Council of Ministers.
Meanwhile, the debate on the Report of the Communications Trade and Investments on the Oversight Workshop of the EAC Civil Aviation Stakeholders in the region was postponed when the EAC Secretary General, Amb Dr. Richard Sezibera rose under Rule 15 of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly to request for adjournement.
The Assembly also adjourned the debate for the Motion on the Resolution urging the Council of Ministers to put in place mechanisms (infection control measures) to handle and manage the Ebola outbreak in the region.
