Maj Baker Richard Ddudu who once served as Uganda’s representative to the East African Legislative Assembly (Eala), is dead. According to Mr Jimmy Adriko, his cousin, Maj Ddudu died of heart complications at Case Medical Centre in Kampala. He was 56-years-old.
"He had been experiencing breathing difficulties. So we rushed him to Case three days back. The medical officers put him in intensive care. But he died today (Sunday, March 16) at 6am.,” Mr Adriko told the Daily Monitor yesterday.
Maj Ddudu is survived by five children and a widow Florence Rwanika. The family will be meeting at his home in Entebbe to make burial arrangements. Mr Adriko said the deceased would be buried at his ancestral home in Maracha, West Nile, by the end of this week.
Maj Ddudu served at Eala from 2001 to 2006. But in 2006, he contested for the Maracha Parliamentary seat and lost to Mr Alex Onzima.
